Apparently Google will at some time be releasing a Google Calendar or GCalendar (codenamed CL2) to its arsenal of personal user tools. It’s a “A calendar for you and the world.”
A screenshot was leaked by one of the estimated 200 beta testers of the new service.
Here is a Google Calendar Screenshot that if you mouseover the image says it is not a real screenshot.
However, here is another Google Calendar screenshot I found on Philipp Lenssen’s Blog with a beta link to the new service so it looks like it will happen!
Currently, ‘calendar.google.com’ resolves to ‘www.google.com’ GCalendar
I’m sure it will integrate with gmail and probably also Google Desktop.
It will be interesting to see how they make the Google Calendar unique and I have no doubt they will!
