I made a post over on my Affiliate Blog (note that that blog is on hold while I work on an eBook which I never seem to have time to work on) where I talk about the some of the quality differences between MSN vs Google Search results.
MSN is far to easy to easy to game and if they want to work on increasing their search engine user base they better step up work on their SEO spam filters. You won’t find the same type of extreme SEO spam for a single keyword on Google.
Would you keep using a search engine that has results as horrible as this, this and this!?
This guy not only dominates for the “spyware” keyword using a mixture of subdomains on MSN but many other variations of the spyware keyword as well.
Look at the results for the single keyword “loans.” in MSN search. Four of the top ten results are remotely hosted blogs on blogspot.com They are likely the same person. I can’t imagine the kind of money he is making from those positions. Granted MSN does not get near the kind of use as Google does, if you have a number 1 position for a keyword such as “loans” you are making a killing wether it’s Google, Yahoo, or on MSN!
